Diboll family homeless after fire

Posted: Updated:
DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) -

A Diboll family is homeless after a fire destroyed their house Tuesday afternoon.

The Diboll fire department says the house on Pine Valley Road was fully involved when they arrived on scene around 4:45 this afternoon.

Diboll police officers say a family of six lived in the home including several children. Everyone got out safe but there is nothing left of the home and the family lost everything.

Officials on-site believe the fire started when something on the stove caught fire. The fire marshal will continue the investigation into the cause of the fire tomorrow.

The Red Cross has been notified to help out the family.
