Deputies with the Houston County Sheriff's Office have arrested a Mississippi man accused of molesting a 15-year-old girl for the past 12 years.
Kenneth Brannon, 38, of Gulfport, Miss., is charged with second-degree sexual assault.
According to an arrest affidavit, a 15-year-old girl interviewed with investigators and said Brannon had molested her since she was three years old. The most recent occurrence came in October, she said.
According to the affidavit, the victim told her aunt about the abuse, who then told the victim's mother.
Investigators spoke to a witness, who said Brannon had confessed to him that he had been molesting the victim since she was 3.
Brannon was booked into the Houston County Jail on Sunday, where he is being held on a $30,000 bail.
