GMET Pet of the Week: Big Boy

Posted: Updated:
TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Big Boy, who really isn't that big, just wants your love and attention.

Big Boy and a lady friend were abandoned at a home and left to fend for themselves.  He is shy at first meeting, but once he gets know you, he loves nothing more than your attention.  He would make a great little inside lap dog.

Big Boy is a 1 year old, 14 lb, Dachshund mix, that has been fully vetted, heartworm negative and has an appointment to be neutered.  Big Boy is crate trained, potty trained and is extremely smart.  He also loves his chew toys.

He likes to hide them and then go back later for a little fun.  He gets along great with other dogs but not so well with cats. He does well with small children but really should be in a home with children 10 years and older.

For more information on how you can adopt Big Boy or other East Texas pets, just head to the SPCA website at www.spcaeasttx.com, or call 903-596 SPCA.
