PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport was busy Friday as Fiesta Bowl visitors packed the terminals, heading home after the big game.

The crowds were heavy, and the lines were long.

Thousands passed through the airport, trying to make it home after the holidays and after Fiesta Bowl festivities.

Airport officials said security machines kept going off because the ink used on programs at the Fiesta Bowl set off alarms.

Airport personnel are asking travelers to put their programs in their carry-on bags and not in their suitcases.

Airport officials said this happens when special ink is used in certain magazines.
