LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Firefighters have extinguished a fire at a restroom at a Lufkin park Friday night.

It appears the fire was at a restroom at Kiwanis Park, located on South Timberland Drive.

By 11:10 p.m., the fire was out.

According to battalion Chief David Cross, the department came after a call came in to dispatch. All doors were locked at the restroom so they had to force into the structure.

A crew will be on the scene Saturday morning to determine a cause.
