Trinity Co. man found in Huntsville after 20-hour search

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Walker County officials located a Trinity County man who was reported missing Friday morning following a 20-hour search.

According to Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace, a man reported the location of William Yellott Sr., 61, before midnight Friday after seeing media reports on him missing.

Trinity County officials located Walker County law enforcement, who picked him up.

Details on how Yellott, who suffers from Alzheimers, made it to Walker County were not immediately available.

Houston County Sheriff's deputies, Trinity County law enforcement, Pennington VFD and family members and neighbors assisted in the search, Wallace said.
