3.1 earthquake rattles area west of Page

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (CBS5) -

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck near the Arizona-Utah border on Monday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake happened about 8:36 a.m. in a remote area about 22 miles southwest of Page on the western Colorado Plateau.

No damage was reported.

No other information was immediately available.
