Nakelyn HillsCHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -
A Mesa sixth-grader who left his classroom on Tuesday and did not return was eventually found safe at his home, police said.
Nakelyn Hills, 12, had left class at Pomeroy Elementary School at 1507 W. Shawnee Dr. at about noon to use the restroom and failed to come back.
After school personnel searched for the child with no success, they contacted Chandler police.
Nakelyn was later found unharmed, police said.
