First Alert Forecast: ALERT DAY tonight and Saturday

Dry weather is expected for opening night at the Toledo Zoo Lights Before Christmas. A light southerly breeze into the evening will keep temperatures steady in the middle 40s.

A chance of rain will increase quickly after 10:00 PM.

Saturday is a FIRST ALERT DAY. Rain will continue overnight and most of Saturday, becoming heavy at times. By sunset Saturday rain amounts may reach from 1" to 2" - a real soaker especially for November.

Late in the day winds will shift to northwest, becoming strong and gusty. Winds may gust as high as 40-45 mph into the night bring a much colder, wintry setting for Sunday.  

Snow showers will be likely with highs in the 30s.
