Icy conditions on bridges and overpasses causing traffic problems

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

Icy conditions are being reported on bridges and overpasses around East Texas.

These conditions have caused numerous wrecks in Tyler on the Beckham overpass just south of Gentry Pkwy, Gentry Pkwy east of Broadway and the 900 block of E. 5th Street, as well as other elevated roadways around East Texas.

Motorists should give themselves extra time and drive slower than usual this morning, using extra caution on bridges and overpasses.
