Gift of Love: Lillie

It was an afternoon of creativity for Lillie as she painted a gingerbread man at Pottery Cafe. This second grader wants more than anything to find a new family in the new year.

"Mom and dad, brothers and sisters," Lillie said.

Lillie is shy at first but warms up easily and is a joy to be around. She loves going to school and gets good grades.

"I like to do math," Lillie said.

As for her future, Lillie wants to be a nurse when she grows up so she can help others. She also like gym class.

"We play bowling," Lillie said.

She loves to play with her stuffed animals and her favorite one is Dora the Explorer. Lillie is very girly. she likes to dress up and get new clothes and have her hair done. Lillie loves fairytale movies.

"My favorite movie is Cinderella," Lillie said.

Lillie is well liked by others and has a very sweet disposition towards younger children. When it comes to her appetite she loves carrots. But that's not all.

"I like to eat apples, the red ones," Lillie said.

She also likes ice cream! Strawberry is her favorite.

When it comes to her forever family, Lillie would love a big sister and lots of family time.

"I would like to go on vacations," Lillie said.

She really would like to go on a family vacation to the beach some day.

"I would like to play beach ball," Lillie said.

She would also love a Tinkerbell bedroom in her new home. But most importantly just wants a place to call her forever home.

"Because I don't want to go back to foster care," Lillie said.

Lillie hopes family will welcome her with open arms and show her the Gift of Love.
