TYLER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
Tyler
County Sheriff's deputies arrested two men from Houston and Port Arthur after
they allegedly entered a home just outside of Woodville and robbed its
residence of a "large amount of cash" at gunpoint Thursday morning.
Daniel
Keith Francis, 31, of Houston, and Jeremy O'Bryan James, 29, of Port Arthur,
are still being held in the Trinity County Jail on charges of aggravated
robbery. No bond has been set at this time.
A press
release from the Tyler County Sheriff's Office stated that deputies responded
to a home on private road 7505, just outside of Woodville after they received a
911 call from a woman who told the dispatcher that two black men had entered
her house with a pistol. The gun was pointed at the home's residents, and the
two suspects allegedly demanded money.
After
they left the house with a "large amount of money" the two men fled the scene
in a tan sedan and headed south on US Highway 69. TCSO deputies and Woodville
Police officers stopped a vehicle
matching the description given by the 911 caller. The two men were identified
as Francis and James, and they were taken into custody without incident.
With the help
of an eyewitness, Trinity County Sheriff's deputies located the cash and the
pistol.
