NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

The victim of a keyed pickup has asked authorities to dismiss charges against a Cushing woman who allegedly caused $2,000 worth of damage to his vehicle.

Prosecutor Carrie Gilgrease said the district attorney's office asked Judge Campbell Cox to approve the dismissal for Destiny Nicole Adams, 21, and he complied.

According to a previous report, deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested Adams in April for criminal mischief when she and three other individuals showed up at someone's property.

The homeowner did not want Adams or the other individuals on their property, located on Morrow Road, off FM 343, and criminal trespassing complaints were filed.

The individuals were instructed to leave the property.

Before Adams left, she allegedly took a key along the side of the homeowner's 2001 Ford pickup truck, leaving an estimated $2,000 in damages.
