NACOGDOCHES, Texas (SFA Athletics) - Senior receiver Cordell Roberson has been named to the 2012 College Sporting News Fabulous 50 FCS All-America Team announced publications officials Monday morning.

Roberson, who is from Jefferson, was named to the first team.

Despite missing two games due to injures, Roberson produced one of the best seasons in school history hauling in 77 passes for 1,006 yards and 10 touchdown receptions.

The school's all-time leading receiver, Roberson leaves SFA as the conference all-time leader in touchdown catches (39), a mark which places him tied for 12th all-time at the FCS level.

Roberson also set the league's second-best mark for receptions and receiving yards.

Roberson was one of 20 players named to the Walter Payton Award Watch at the end of the season.

The FCS version of the Heisman Trophy, Roberson is the second Lumberjack in the past threes to be named to the watch list.
