LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

Two of the top players in the Lee County program are both heading to play at Middle Georgia College next year.

Outfielder Andrew Stroud and pitcher Chris Mosley both signing to play baseball with the Warriors this morning at the school's media center.

Mosley worked his way into the Trojans starting rotation where he has struck out 62 hitters in 45 innings.

Andrew Stroud is preparing for his third season in the Lee County lineup.

He is a career .300 hitter but suffered a knee injury playing for the Lee County football team back in the fall.

Andrew says he should be ready to go in about another month and both players are excited about playing for one of the top junior college programs in the nation.

"I have never seen so many scouts in one place at one time. I have been to many DI schools and they had a lot of scouts there. That is what really attracted me. I also knew Mosley was going there and he is a really good player," said Andrew Stroud.

"I am very excited to be on the team. To be a part of their program. Hopefully, go to a world series and win a national championship," said Chris Mosley.

The Lee County baseball team opens their 2013 season on February 21st at their season opening "Greatest Show on Dirt" tournament.
