Crews respond to camper trailer fire in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Crews responded to a camper trailer fire Sunday evening off of FM 900 west in Franklin County.

Officials tell us around 6pm Sunday, crews were called to the scene in the 12-hundred block of FM 900 west, just south of Mt. Vernon, Texas.

Crews were able to control the fire quickly and say that the camper mainly suffered heavy smoke damage.

Purley, South Franklin and Winnsboro volunteer fire crews responded to the scene. Nobody was injured.
