POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Livingston man is dead and another man is being treated for serious injuries following a three-vehicle accident on US 190 in Polk County Monday morning.

William Wydale McAbee, 34, died at the scene.

According to Trooper Kevin Burman, McAbee was driving a 2007 Lincoln pickup eastbound on US 190, near the intersection of Tom Cummings Road, when he was rear-ended by an Isuzu Amigo, driven by Keleb Grigg, 19, of Livingston. McAbee was forced into westbound traffic and hit by a 2008 Ford Crew truck, driven by Terry Watson, 49, of Orange.

Watson was taken by helicopter to a Houston hospital. Grigg is being treated for injuries at a Livingston hospital.

Watson works for J-W Power Company. Company spokesman John Daniels said Watson suffered multiple injuries to his legs and arms and is in critical condition in a Houston hospital.
