A Tornado Watch has been dropped for several East Texas counties, but still remains in effect for Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby counties until 1a.m. Wednesday morning.
Severe thunderstorms ended up being more of a wind storm on Tuesday night, causing power outages and leaving behind minor damage in East Texas.
According to Oncor, about 2,700 homes in Angelina County are without power.
Houston County is also reporting about 1,500 homes are without power tonight.

We have also received several reports of downed trees and wind damage across the area. In Nacogdoches, a large tree fell through a wood frame house and did damage to the kitchen near the intersection of Houston St. and North Mound St.
In San Augustine, numerous trees have been toppled and reported down, according to emergency managers.
In Sabine county, the city of Pineland had a twenty-eight foot trailer over-turned just east of Temple Avenue, along with several trees downed in that area as well.
