TransCanada responds to accidentally clearing Angelina Co. land

Posted: Updated:
ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Last night we told you about some Angelina County land that TransCanada had mistakenly started clearing thinking it was part of an easement they purchased from a private landowner.

TransCanada spokesman David Dodson says they are trying to work out a resolution that works best for all parties and that TransCanada takes full responsibility for the mistake.

Dodson says they have not been in contact with county officials recently because they do not have a formal proposal yet but are working on it.

Dodson says TransCanada is sorry about the mistake and understands the Angelina County's frustration but they are working diligently toward a resolution.
