LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -
Today was National Pancake Day,
and residents were able to get free pancakes and give to a good
cause.
IHOP and the Shriners have teamed
up to raise money for the Children's Miracle Hospital Network. They were asking for donations
instead of making you paying for the pay for the pancakes.
"We have raised over$10 million with IHOP helping us with us and it is tremendous help. We love
IHOP helping us because they stay behind us and stay with us," said Shriner's Potentate Joe Youngblood.
This year the group has a goal of
$3 million dollars this year.
