"She loved God with all her heart in everything she did and everything she was," said Aaron Klein, family friend of 64 year old Glennis Woodall.
Woodall died this week after fighting pancreatic cancer for the last six months. Glennis and her husband, Gary Woodall, began a program called Hannah's House, 22 years ago that helps pregnant women find shelter and protection.
"She taught them how to cook, taught them how to sew, and how to balance a check book. Just the simple things everybody needs to know. She taught them that the life they were carrying was worth something," said Klein.
Klein says Woodall wanted to stop abortion, and felt like by creating a loving environment for hundreds of women was what God called her to do.
"It didn't matter if she met you at the courthouse steps, or the jail house steps, a crack house, or from the pastors house up the street, it didn't matter. Her love was unconditional," said Klein about Woodall.

From Rader Funeral Home:
A celebration of the life of Glennis Anne Woodall will be held at 2:00pm at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
Glennis was born to Brannon and Doniece Isenhower in San Antonio, Texas, on December 29, 1949. She graduated from Sinton High School in 1968 and married Gary Stephen Woodall on December 13, 1969. Glennis was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved Jesus her Lord above all else and left this life to be with Him on Monday, February 4, 2013, after a seven-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
Glennis' passion in life was to love God and stop abortion by reaching out to young women in unplanned pregnancies. She and Gary founded Promiseland Ministries and Hannah House Maternity Home in 1999 in Glen Rose, Texas, which later relocated to Longview in 2010. In 2008 Glennis founded Chosen Child Adoption Services out of a desire to see God glorified and families ministered to through the adoption process. She is best known by everyone she touched for having opened her arms in unconditional love to anyone in need of help, and for teaching others to do the same. Hundreds of young women, children and adoptive families have been blessed by Glennis' sacrificial love and willingness to fight for truth and the sanctity of life.
Mrs. Woodall was preceded in death by her father, Brannon Isenhower. She is survived by her mother, Doniece Isenhower; her husband, Gary Woodall; her children and their spouses, Christopher and Monica Woodall, Courtney and Joel Armstrong, Clarke and Tara Woodall and Colby Woodall; her grandchildren, Moriah, Madalyn, Zoie, Reagan, Mallory, Preston, Rebekah, Ezra and Layla; brothers Brian and Dane Isenhower and their wives, Malinda and Leanne; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
The Woodall Family Legacy Enrichment Fund has been set up in honor of Glennis. Anyone wishing to make a donation can mail directly to the Promiseland Ministries, Inc. office at P.O. Box 6081, Longview, Texas, 75608; or may drop off at either Bancorpsouth location in Longview.
