TUCSON, AZ (AP) -

The chief executive officer of a Tucson high-tech company has been convicted of felony DUI charges.

Pima County prosecutors say John M. Bourque was found guilty by a jury Wednesday.

He was convicted of aggravated driving under the influence with a revoked or suspended license and aggravated DUI with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or more.

Bourque is CEO of armor-plate maker Bourque Industries Inc.

He was arrested in the DUI case in September 2009.

Bourque was taken into custody following the verdict, pending a sentencing hearing scheduled for March.

The Arizona Daily Star says Bourque may face an extended sentence of more than seven years as a repeat offender.

He spent more than three years in state prison for aggravated DUI in 2002.
