
After a long night of waiting, Whitehouse ISD has approved the hire of Adam Cook as the new head football coach.
The Whitehouse school board went into executive session for more than three hours Monday night, before making the announcment.
Cook had served as the Wildcats offensive coordinator. He replaces longtime Whitehouse head football coach Randy McFarlin. McFarlin was 59 and 43 in nine seasons.
Cook directed a Wildcats offense that scored 44 points per game in 2012.
