Power outage along Old Jacksonville in Tyler causes signal light outage

Tyler Police Department reports a traffic signal outage along Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler.

A power outage has taken out the signals at the intersections of OJ and Rice Road as well as OJ and Grande. The outage is caused by an equipment problem near Old Noonday Road, according to Oncor. Approximately 2500 Oncor customers are affected by the power outage.

Restoration expected by 8:00 p.m. tonight.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
