TUCSON, AZ (AP) -

A man has turned himself in to authorities for allegedly firing a gun at a Tucson party attended by more than 1,000 people last month.

Tucson police say 20-year-old Da'wan Grandville Lord was booked into the Pima County Jail on Thursday.

He's being held on suspicion of discharging a firearm within the city limits.

Police had been trying to determine who fired a gun into the air at the Jan. 26 party at the Standard Apartments in Tucson.

They say nobody was injured in the incident.

Police received multiple tips about the suspect and they contacted Lord's family and friends before he turned himself in on the advice of his attorney.
