DPS: 1 killed in Loop 303 crash

SURPRISE, AZ (CBS5) -

One person has died in a crash on Loop 303 southbound at Greenway in Surprise.

Rural Metro spokesman Colin Williams said four people were taken to the hospital after the crash about 3:30 p.m. Williams said one of the victims may have had a heart attack.

The crash closed the southbound lanes of Loop 303 at Bell Road and the northbound lanes of Greenway Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

No other details were immediately available.
