POLAND JUNCTION, AZ (CBS5) -

Two people have been arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop ended in a scuffle with deputies.

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said Robert Flood, 52, and Tracy Tarlip, 46, were stopped about 9 p.m. on Feb. 19, on Highway 69 in Poland Junction.

Flood was driving but didn't have a driver's license and claimed to be William Kaufman and born in 1944.

A record check showed Kaufman had passed away and his license was expired. YCSO said Flood continued to claim he was Kaufman.

When the deputy tried to handcuff Flood, he pulled away. The deputy got out his stun gun and ordered Flood to the ground.

Flood eventually complied and deputies found a meth pipe in his pocket.

Tarlip revealed Flood's identity and that there was meth inside her car.

Deputies found 22 grams of meth, marijuana, drug sales documentation and a scale, as well as a loaded .45 caliber handgun in the passenger floorboard. Deputies also found ecstasy pills.

Flood and Tarlip were booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center.

Flood faces multiple charges including drug possession, resisting arrest and gun possession. His bond was set at $250,000.

Tarlip's bond for drug charges was set at $100,000.
