2 taken to hospital after wreck on Troup Highway

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Traffic is open again on Troup Highway after police say a pickup truck hit a car near Dennis Drive.

Police say a black Ford Ranger failed to yield to a stop sign on Dennis Drive, and was hit by a Chevy Impala.

Two people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, but Tyler Police tell us they have non life threatening injuries.

Tyler police issued a citation for the driver of the black Ford Ranger for failure to yield right of way.
