Route 138 reopened following fatal crash

GRISWOLD, CT (WFSB) -

A portion of route 138 was closed in Griswold after a fatal car crash Sunday.

Police closed the road in both directions at the intersection of Route 138 and Bitgood Road for a hours as they investigated the crash.

The name of the victim has yet to be released.

The crash remains under investigation.
