Several local fire departments battle blaze at Lufkin Industries shipping facility

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Fuller Springs, Huntington, Moffett and Ora firefighters responded to a blaze that broke out Sunday at the Lufkin Industries Oilfield Division shipping facility.

The fire started around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in one of the paint booths at the facility on Highway 69 and Buck Creek, east of Lufkin.

Fuller Springs Assistant Fire Chief Bobby Cranford tells us firefighters were able to contain the fire to one area of the paint room and there were no injuries.
