KINGMAN, AZ (CBS5) -

Police reported two people, Michael Anthony Lozano, 23, and Kristina Lynn Pineda, 20, were arrested after detectives discovered a marijuana grow operation in their garage.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said their deputies along with the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team detectives served the search warrant on Friday after they received a tip that there may be a marijuana grow house at the residence in the 1100 block of South Concho Road.

MAGNET found the converted garage had lighting, a water system with timers and a cooling system. In addition there was a secondary smaller marijuana growing operation inside of the home.

A vacuum sealing system along with plastic bags were found at the house, along with marijuana already packed for sale. The marijuana that had already been packaged for sale weighed roughly 28 pounds, according to MCSO.

More than 500 marijuana plants were seized by MCSO along with various weapons.

Both Lozano and Pineda were arrested on produce marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of narcotic drug for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon during a drug offense. All of their charges are felonies.
