BOSTON, March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, Inc. ("Invest in Others") a public charity that supports the philanthropic and volunteer efforts of financial advisors across the industry, today announced the appointment of Bill Dwyer as the organization's next Chairman of the Board, to take effect later this year.

In this role, Mr. Dwyer will succeed Robert Moore, who has served as Chairman of the Board of the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation since 2009.  During this time, Moore has overseen a series of highly successful initiatives that both recognize the charitable activities of financial advisors and encourage the broader industry to support them.  Central among these is the Community Leadership Awards, hosted annually by Invest in Others in New York City.
