WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

The West Hartford Police Department arrested a woman, who they said was almost three times the legal limit when she crashed her car into a home early Monday morning.

Officers were called to a home on Mayflower street just after 12:30 a.m. where a motor vehicle being driven by Tirsa Camis, 24, of Hartford had crashed.

Upon arrival, officers found that Camis crashed her car into the porch in the back of the home after hitting the curb and a parked car.

Police determined that Camis had a blood alcohol level of .227, which was nearly 3 times the legal limit of .08.

Camis was charged with driving while intoxicated, released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on March 14.
