Majid Hedayati to Head STV's International Division

NEW YORK, March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Majid Hedayati, P.E., has been named executive vice president of STV, the engineering, architectural, planning and construction management firm, and will head up the firm's International Division. Hedayati will pursue opportunities in the Middle East, Central Asia, South America and Canada. STV's International Division consolidates the firm's international offices and projects and provides multi-disciplined services to clients in the global arena.

Hedayati has been with STV since 1992, and brings to this new role more than 32 years of experience. He is familiar with the international marketplace and served as the director of the firm's Transportation & Infrastructure Division's largest region. In this role, he was responsible for complex, multi-billion dollar highway, railroad, and bridge projects, including such award-winning assignments as the $1.3 billion Port Authority of New York & New Jersey's AirTrain JFK light rail transit system; the $7.6 billion Long Island Rail Road East Side Access project; and the $90 million PECK Bridge in Bridgeport, CT for Metro-North Railroad.
