LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -
A Huntington man who shot another man to death in September has
pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and faces a judge's sentencing.
Court records show Rayvon Lee Bizzell, 23, pleaded guilty to the charge last week in Judge Barry Bryan's court.
Bizzell
shot Daniel Cano, 26, of Huntington, in the back in a carport in the
400 block of East Lynn Street in Huntington. Cano later died at a Lufkin
hospital.
Bizzell shot Cano over verbal problems the two had in the past, police Chief Bobby Epperly Jr. said in a September interview.
Bryan is scheduled to sentence Bizzell on April 15.
