From Texas A&M:

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KLTV) - Texas A&M University police are investigating a campus-wide bomb threat for Friday. The written threat was discovered this morning in the bathroom of a campus facility and an investigation was immediately launched.

Authorities believe the credibility of the threat is questionable and the campus remains open. All classes and other campus activities will be held as scheduled. Campus officials are working closely with local, state and federal law enforcement officials to identify and apprehend the person or persons responsible for the threat and bring them to justice.

Law enforcement officials have heightened security measures to help ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Making a Terroristic Threat that Impair Public or Government Service is a third degree felony, punishable up to ten years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine and Texas A&M officials will take aggressive measures to bring the perpetrator(s) to justice.
