Ringo has always wanted a fur-ever home

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - This is Ringo.

He's a one and a half year old white and black Australian shepherd Blue heeler mix.
Ringo is itching to get a family, a good home and a yard he can run around and play in.

Nacogdoches Animal Control Officer, Steven Bryant said "Not sure why he came in if he was an owner or a stray but no one's adopted him. He's a great dog, pretty, playful. Real friendly. Don't know of him having any problems."

Ringo's been at the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter for quite a while. He hasn't quite made a connection with anybody just yet but this could be his lucky day.

Ringo is very curious and loves to be loved on.

Bryant said, "It would be great if there were children if not just any good loving home that will give him more than just food and water but a lot of play time and just good love."

When KTRE visited with Ringo he enjoyed being out in the sunshine and likes to roll around in the grass even occasionally having a little grass snack.

Bryant said, "These are kind of high activity dogs so they like to run and play and if they keep them in a small home they need to be able to get out and run and play and have someone take them out."
