The search continues for two suspects for murder in the death of a Marshall man early Friday morning.

David James Cherry, 28, was found dead in his Georgetown Rd. home with a single gunshot wound to the head, after a 911 call alerted police that there was a man covered in blood unable to come to the door.

Surveillance video of two 'persons of interest' was released on Friday afternoon, showing a male and a female knocking on and then entering and exiting the front door of Cherry's home several times shortly before the murder is believed to have taken place.

Now, Marshall Police are looking for 32-year-old Jason Stevens Rand and 22-year-old Oriel Jacinta Alexander.

Police have not released details on how they identified the pair, their possible motives, or exactly what role the surveillance video may have played.

Both are considered armed and dangerous. Police say they were last seen driving a White 2003 Chevrolet Malibu with Texas plates DM3C338, possibly headed to the Houston, TX area.

Surrounding law enforcement as well as authorities in the Houston area have been notified.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the suspects are asked to contact the Marshall Police Department at 903-935-4575 or if they wish to remain anonymous they may call the Marshall/ Harrison County Crimestoppers at 903-935-9969.
