NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -
Nacogdoches
County Sheriff Jason Bridges on Monday shed a little light more on the missing man
that was located late last week.
Bridges said
that 59-year-old Loyd Wade Alexander was found on the side of the road in Rusk
County near the sheriff's office.
"He was taken to
the local hospital and is in stable condition according to the hospital,"
Bridges said. "I do not know the reason why he was transported to the hospital,
however I have learned that he was in the hospital the day before and was
released in Henderson."
The NCSO canceled
the missing person alert for Alexander on Friday. According to the alert, Alexander
was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
On March
1, he left Nacogdoches County in a maroon Chevy S10 and went to Lonoke, Ark.,
to drop off a man by the name of JJ. Alexander's daughter spoke with him on
Sunday, and Alexander said he would be back to Nacogdoches the next day.
However, he didn't show up, prompting his family members to file a missing
person report with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office.
