1 dead in Nacogdoches County wreck

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

One person has died in a wreck on State Highway 7 West in Nacogdoches County Tuesday morning.

According to Trooper David Hendry, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, the wreck occurred at approximately 6 a.m. Lola Ophleia Martines, 52, of Nacogdoches, was driving a 2000 Ford Focus on Highway 7 when she left the roadway near the intersection of County Road 613, and her car struck a tree.

Martines was transported to Memorial Medical Center in Nacogdoches where she was later pronounced dead as a result of the injuries she suffered in the accident.
