NACOGDOCHES, TX (News Release) -
Eat, drink,
and have a good time for a good cause! On March 13th Chili's Grill & Bar in
Nacogdoches will be giving back by donating 10 percent of your food and
beverage purchases to benefit the Family Crisis Center of East Texas.
The
incentive is available all day. Proceeds from the Chili's Give Back Night are
designed to go to organizations that specialize in the specific needs of the
community. The Family Crisis Center of East Texas offers services to family
violence and sexual assault victims in nine counties, including Nacogdoches and
Angelina counties.
Proceeds
raised by the event will fund community Sexual Assault Awareness Month events
in April. The Family Crisis Center honors those that have fallen victim to
sexual violence and seeks to promote awareness during this timeframe.
The 2013
theme is "Step Up for Change." You must present The Give Back Night Flyer when
paying for your meal to donate 10% to the Family Crisis Center of East Texas.

The Family
Crisis Center of East Texas provides services that are vital for survivors of
domestic violence and/or sexual assault to establish a safe and secure life
free from abuse. Services include 24-hour emergency hotline and emergency
shelter, transportation, crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy,
child advocacy, sexual assault advocacy, advocacy for employment and housing,
peer support groups, individual and family counseling, therapy groups,
emergency financial assistant, and transitional housing. Other community
services include primary prevention and community education.
