Pines Theater to host Spring Cinema

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The pines theater is offering pictures shows for everyone.

After having a successful holiday season of movies, The Pines Theater in downtown Lufkin will start it's Spring Cinema Movie Nights this coming weekend.

Movie goers will be able to see classic movies every weekend for a low cost price of $5.

People involved with the theater believe that The pines can offer an experience of a life time with these classics.

"Most of the kids that will come and see Hop or Madagascar weren't born when it was on the big screen the first time. The audience it appeals to at home was not alive to see it that way. We see a lot of grandparents bringing grandchildren here, because they came here as a child and now they are sharing that experience," said Director of the Pines Theater, Lance Moore.

Spring Cinema begins March 15 and ends April 27.
