LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - It's that time of year again, the spring carnival has arrived in Lufkin. The Wagner's Carnival set up shop Tuesday morning in front of Kool Kids Dentistry on Timberland Drive, and will be in town until Sunday evening for spring break.
"We're here to show the community a good time, a nice, clean, family entertainment," said Jason Wagner, the managing member for Wagner's Carnival.
The Aransas Pass, which is just north of Corpus Christi, carnival will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day and tickets are a dollar each. Carnival goers can also purchase weekday wristbands for $20 and weekend wristbands for $22.
Wagner says they have been coming to Lufkin for about five years now and says the feedback is always great.
"Well, so far, just after one night it's been positive. We tend to come to Lufkin every year. We didn't get to come last year, but we try to come ever year in the spring. And so far, we have had pleasant experiences," Wagner said.
