Angelina Chamber seeks employer booths for job fair

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Another job fair is in the works for East Texans.

The Angelina County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting booth registration from businesses in East Texas.

They want to fill open positions at the forest country job fair presented by Lufkin Industries.

The second annual Forest Country Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, at Angelina College Shands Gymnasium.

Employers and job seekers will be brought together.

"The chamber is seeking businesses who want to set up a booth at the forest country job fair to look for potential employees that they can hire. Last year's job fair over 11 hundred people walked through the door so they're looking to hire for over 800 positions, and so I know the businesses had a lot of success from that."

The job fair is a great way to find employment or employees.

It's free and open to the public but booths are limited.
