Woman released on personal recognizance bond after aggravated assault

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

53-year-old Lisa Whitaker was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault.

Lufkin police say Whitaker allegedly used a wood-handled steak knife to stab the victim in the shoulder during an altercation between family members.

Jail records show that Whitaker was also arrested on February 27th for an aggravated assault and she was released from jail on a personal recognizance bond.
