NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -
Three
men allegedly kicked and punched another man outside an apartment in the 3100
block of E. J. Campbell Blvd. before they took his wallet Thursday night,
according to the Nacogdoches Police Department. No arrests have been made at
this time.
The
victim, who received bruising to the face and a laceration to the head, was
transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and
released.
Sgt.
Greg Sowell, a spokesman for the Nacogdoches Police Department, said the three
men who allegedly assaulted and robbed the victim were African Americans
between the ages of 15 and 20 years old. No further description was provided,
he said.
The
victim told police that his wallet contained cash and personal papers.
