NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Three men allegedly kicked and punched another man outside an apartment in the 3100 block of E. J. Campbell Blvd. before they took his wallet Thursday night, according to the Nacogdoches Police Department. No arrests have been made at this time.

The victim, who received bruising to the face and a laceration to the head, was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and released.

Sgt. Greg Sowell, a spokesman for the Nacogdoches Police Department, said the three men who allegedly assaulted and robbed the victim were African Americans between the ages of 15 and 20 years old. No further description was provided, he said.

The victim told police that his wallet contained cash and personal papers.
