LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -
Organizers with the Quilt Guild of the Pineywoods says they have a great event that blankets a good time.
"The Needles in the Pines Quilt Show" kicked off March 15.
It is being held at First United Methodist Church of Lufkin.
Onlookers can view quilts in all different sizes and colors from all over the East Texas area.
You also have the chance to take something away.
"We have raffle baskets that they can put their tickets in and win all kinds of neat things, and just a good time with a lot of neat people," said quilt show chairman Ruth Burman.
Tickets for the event are $5 for adults and $1 for children.
The event ends March 16. It runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
