PALESTINE, TX (KLTV) -
The first thing Norris Hunt noticed when he arrived in Vietnam was how much war had aged our soldiers.
The twenty-year-old Hunt was soon to find out the toll taken on soldiers while in battle. He says he still has nightmares about war in Vietnam to this day.
Hunt was awarded a Bronze Star, Air Medal, and also a Purple Heart after receiving wounds from a land mine.
In spite of hearing problems from the mine explosion and nightmares, Hunt says he feels it was his duty as an American to serve his country.
