SFA falls in SLC tournament championship

KATY, TX (KTRE) -

The SFA Lumberjacks fell to Northwestern State Saturday night, likely ending their quest for a national title.

Northwestern State pulled off the 68-66 win in Katy, making them the Southland Conference tournament champions, which gives them an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.

SFA has earned an automatic berth in the NIT Tournament with the 29-4 record.
