Whataburger hosts fundraiser for Family Crisis Center

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The Whataburger off North Street in Nacogdoches will be hosting a fundraiser for the Family Crisis Center Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The fast food chain will be donating 25 percent of their proceeds during that time period to the center for sexual assault awareness month.

The center will be using the funds to host several events throughout the month of April to spread awareness through the community.

The Whataburger in Lufkin off Highway 94 and the loop is also hosting a fundraiser for the Lufkin based Family Crisis Center on Wednesday.
